Disjointed but watchable, The Dark within has a promising opening and set up reminiscent of other paranormal thrillers like the Fury or Scanners. Director David Ryan Keith does an admirable job of creating a creepy, brooding, uncomfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, any goodwill that was built up in act one is squandered in the rest of the film.

A person who is imbalanced in their dark nature and is too Dark, is The Abuser or Predator. One who is greedy, over-indulges in addictive behavior, is controlling, violent, overly-competitive, jealous, homophobic, racist, ruthless, and lacks an inner world. This is someone who misuses their power in order to get what they want at all costs and at the expense of others. They are disconnected from their own hearts and Spirit. To balance this, the individual must learn humility, compassion, respect, kindness, caring, seek to understand the other, assume responsibility for their own actions rather than blame, connect with their own hearts and connect with Mother Earth and the web of all life. They need to seek to become a Creator that loves life rather than a Destroyer, that annihilates everything in its path.

As you can see in the news in the U.S.A., some of the Abusers / Predators are being outed. However, the American government seems to be exempt from their predatorial behavior as they run rampant over the American people, enacting laws that serve the greedy few while the masses are left out in the cold. This cycle of Predator/Victim has been in place in the world for a very long time. Cast your mind back to the Kingdoms and the serfs in the Medieval era. It is really no different from those days. Remember, it is always darkest before the dawn. What is needed now, is for each individual to balance their dark and light nature, as well as their feminine and masculine energies, to overcome fear and to step into our Creator Consciousness. To honor the Divine Self within and use our free will to create something Beautiful from a place of love.

The Creator knows his/her power as a Master who walks on the earth, a Divine Being of Light in Human form. The Creator creates from a place of love, respect and compassion for all living beings, the environment and knows its connection to the great Spirit. The Creator works within the Laws of the Universe and is not victim to what is happening in the world, rather, they are harnessing their God-given power which was bestowed upon them, with intention, to create harmony and justice using free will.

We know these polarities exist and we know what it feels like when the light (perceptions of love) and the darkness (perceptions of fear) are out of balance. Can you think of a time in your life when your light and dark were out of balance

As Autumn unfolds the days get shorter and the night gets longer. Darkness and light gently return to balance. Our focus today, as we follow the cycle of Autumn, is the darkness and light within each of us.

As Autumn and Nature shows us, our physical journey (and the seasons, and our creativity, and our bodies, etc.) is a learning experience. The darkness and the light are present in many areas of our human experience. The darkness fulfills its own purpose, as does each thing in the Universe (whether it makes sense at this moment or not). To fully understand and embrace both we must remain open and curious.

It's my pleasure to share with you today an exclusive Birdboy: The Forgotten Children clip. The upcoming animated release from GKIDS captures the dark coming-of-age tale laid out in the pages of Alberto Vázquez's \"Psiconautas\" comic and brings the story to life in a visually striking way. Vázquez co-directed this 2015 award-winning film alongside co-writer/co-director Pedro Rivero, and now GKIDS is bringing it Stateside for a big-screen release.

There is light and beauty, even in the darkest of worlds. Stranded on an island in a post-apocalyptic world, teenager Dinky and her friends hatch a dangerous plan to escape in the hope of finding a better life. Meanwhile, her old friend Birdboy has shut himself off from the world, pursued by the police and haunted by demon tormentors. But unbeknownst to anyone, he contains a secret inside him that could change the world forever.

Based on a graphic novel and short film by co-director Alberto Vázquez and winner of the Goya Award for Best Animated Feature (where Vázquez won Best Animated Short Film in the same year), Birdboy: The Forgotten Children is a darkly comic, beautiful and haunting tale of coming of age in a world gone to ruin.

Annular bright field scanning transmission electron microscopy, which has recently been established to produce directly interpretable images with both light and heavier atomic columns visible simultaneously, is shown to allow directly interpretable imaging of the oxygen columns within the Σ13[1210](1014) pyramidal twin grain boundary in α-Al(2)O(3).
